My Dog Tulip

My human went to see a great movie this weekend - My Dog Tulip based upon the book by J. R. Ackerley. This animated tale is for dog lovers of all ages. My only regret is that dogs are not allowed in the movie theatre so I have to wait for the DVD!!!

Cedar Island Lighthouse

Spent the last weekend of summer out enjoying the weather. I took a trip to Cedar Point Park in East Hampton. The whole park is dog friendly. From here we hiked out to the old Cedar Island Lighthouse. You can get to the lighthouse because the Hurricane of 1938 filled in the space between the park and the island the lighthouse is on. There are plans to restore the lighthouse. But for now, I enjoyed the walk, climbing the lighthouse and seeing the boats come into the harbor. If you want to visit this park, visit their website at http://www.co.suffolk.ny.us/departments/parks/Cedar%20Point%20County%20Park.aspx

Garden Dogs

Not all dogs in the garden are diggin holes or chasing cats. These hot dogs are spinning or jingling in the breeze. Although I've finally figured out that they are not real doggie friends, they do add something special to being outside.

Happy Hour!

Just hanging with the dogs at the September Pints & Paws on September 2. I look foward to this each month, I get to see some old friends and make some new ones. Also-there are always lots of humans to meet as well. I can't wait for the next one!
