Bananas for Bandanas!

I always like to look my best. I just got some terrific bandanas from the people at The Edge Tie Dye. Mom got skirts and a dress that match them as well. If you are interested in visiting them check out their web site: www.theedgetiedye.com You can see all the different tie dye items they have. You can also check out if they will be at a local fair or festival near you! As you can see my fur is growing back slowly!

Martha's Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard is a very fun place for dogs and people. Dogs are welcome almost everywhere on the island. I went on the local bus system, into stores, ate delicious treats and met great people. While you are there check out The Black Dog Tavern, Bakery and Stores http://www.theblackdog.com/ in Vineyard Haven. When in Oak Bluffs make sure you stop by Good Dog Goods http://www.gooddoggoods.com/ . And make sure you visit those beautiful beaches and lighthouses that surround the island. I know the first family will be visiting there soon, and I know Bo the first dog will have a great time!

The profits from the book are to benefit the North Shore Animal League. The book is available online through Collaborative Tails: http://www.collaborativetails.com/. New Bedford Vacation

Last summer I went on a dogriffic vacation to New Bedford, Massachusetts. We stayed in the dog friendly Octagon House B&B. In our room there was a doggie bed and a basket of biscuits waiting just for me. There were many sites to see in this historic whaling city. We went on a walking tour of the New Bedford National Park. There are restored cobblestone streets, buildings and even the Seaman's Bethel from Moby Dick. At the National Park visitors center, we found guides for several self-guided walking tours of the city. New Bedford is home to two beautiful dog friendly parks, Fort Taber Park and Buttonwood Park which we also visited. One of my favorite things was the Harbor Tour where I got to ride in a boat!

My New Look

I went to the groomers and this is how I can back! Can you believe it's really me? I had some skin irritation and this makes me feel better. I have to watch out for sunburn now!
