Bailey the other reindeer?

I thought I check and see if Santa needed another reindeer - or at least a rein-dog. Don't you think Santa could use my help?

More DogFest Fun!

I had such a great time at the Old Westbury Gardens Fall Dog Festival that I had to share some more pictures. Here you see my friends Jilli Dog and Rock Caran entertaining the crowd with basketball and card tricks. I took a walk in the scarecrow garden and saw silly and scary sights! And I visited the booths-here I am visiting my friends at the LI Dog booth.

Dog Days at Old Westbury Gardens

This past weekend was the Fall Dog Festival at Old Westbury Gardens. Twice a year, the beautifully landscaped grounds literally go to the dogs. I had such a great time hiking all over the grounds. There were vendors, live music a dog show and a costume contest. Check back during the week to see more pictures from this wonderful event!

Snoopy's Dog Fest

Once again I was proud to help Snoopy raise money and awareness for Canine Companions for Independence. I attended Snoopy's DogFest on October 16th at SUNY Farmingdale. There were many demonstrations, a costume contest, vendors and of course the main man, SNOOPY!!! Please check out Canine Companions for Independence at www.cci.org and see all the good works they do.

Fall Fairs

This time of year there are soooo many fall fairs and festivals! It's great to be out and about walking in new neighborhoods and meeting new friends - human and dogs! You might get a special treat or even a new outfit! You may even meet a celebrity or two! Here I am meeting Senator Chuck Schumer at the Huntington Fall Festival and Sparky the NY Islander's mascot at the Bellmore Street Fair. Then check out how great I look with a new bandanna from The Edge Tie Dye!

My Dog Tulip

My human went to see a great movie this weekend - My Dog Tulip based upon the book by J. R. Ackerley. This animated tale is for dog lovers of all ages. My only regret is that dogs are not allowed in the movie theatre so I have to wait for the DVD!!!

Cedar Island Lighthouse

Spent the last weekend of summer out enjoying the weather. I took a trip to Cedar Point Park in East Hampton. The whole park is dog friendly. From here we hiked out to the old Cedar Island Lighthouse. You can get to the lighthouse because the Hurricane of 1938 filled in the space between the park and the island the lighthouse is on. There are plans to restore the lighthouse. But for now, I enjoyed the walk, climbing the lighthouse and seeing the boats come into the harbor. If you want to visit this park, visit their website at http://www.co.suffolk.ny.us/departments/parks/Cedar%20Point%20County%20Park.aspx

Garden Dogs

Not all dogs in the garden are diggin holes or chasing cats. These hot dogs are spinning or jingling in the breeze. Although I've finally figured out that they are not real doggie friends, they do add something special to being outside.

Happy Hour!

Just hanging with the dogs at the September Pints & Paws on September 2. I look foward to this each month, I get to see some old friends and make some new ones. Also-there are always lots of humans to meet as well. I can't wait for the next one!
