I will be walking...

I will be walking in the first annual "Chester's Walk" also known as Canines for a Cure for the Leukemia and Lymphona Society. The walk will be held on Sunday, May 17th at Belmont Lake State Park. Registration begins at 9:00am and the walk will begin at 10:15am. After the walk there will be vendors and fun games. The chairperson of the walk is Bethanny Frankel from "The Real Housewives of New York" tv show. She will be there to greet the dogs and sign copies of her new book. Even though it should be a fun day, the monies raised will help fund cancer research-an important thing for all us dogs and humans too. The dog walk is in memory of Chester, a really great dog who recently just lost his life to cancer. If you would like to sponsor me in the walk, please visit http://li.canines.llsevent.org/Bailey If you would like to learn more about the walk or how you and your dog can participate please visit http://site.chesterswalk.com/

More Dog Days Fun

Mom has been getting a lot of flack about not showing all the other dogs at some of the events we go to. Can I help it if she thinks I'm adorable? So here are some more pictures of Old Westbury Gardens Dog Days showing lots of dogs and their people having fun!

Well, wasn't the weather wonderful! It was a great Dog Day Saturday at Old Westbury Gardens. There were so many dogs and their people there. We searched all over the gardens for spots with spring flowers. I hiked all over the grounds and had such a good time! If the weather holds up we may go back in the morning.
P.S. Mom just had to buy that dog hat from one of the rescue groups...so of course I had to model it! :)

This weekend is one of my favorite dog events, Dog Days at Old Westbury Gardens. I hope to see many of you walking around the beautiful grounds and smelling the spring blooms. There will be dog agility to try out, information from dog rescue groups and lots of places to walk with your human friends. For more information and directions please see www.oldwestburygardens.org

As Easter is only a week away I went to visit a very special friend-the Easter Bunny. As you can see he had a very nice set up here at Hick's Nursey in Westbury. I also roamed around picking out nice flowers to give as Easter gifts. As for me, I am looking foward to an Easter basket filled with Puperoni, Beggin Strips and other goodies!
