Sag Harbor

Sometimes it's just nice to take a walk down a different street or in a different town. Lots of new things to see and smell! I took a walk down Main Street in Sag Harbor. What a nice town! Very dog friendly and lots of people stopped to say "Hello!" A special shout out to the nice folks at Book Hampton and Kites of the Harbor for welcoming me into their stores. And I just had to try out the fire truck outside the Sag Harbor Variety Store.

Stop and Smell the Flowers

Sometimes you gotta just take some time to smell the flowers. Here I am at a roadside flower stand on Sound Ave. and a picture of the field they came from.

Vines and Canines

I went on a Vines and Canines Vineyard Walk at the Martha Clara Vineyards. Winemaker Juan Micieli-Martinez took us on a walk around the vineyards and told us how they make the different wines at Martha Clara. He even brought his own dog, Satchmo along with us. In the picture above that's me Bailey with Juan Micieli-Martinez and Satchmo. A Walk on the Nautical Mile

On a nice summer night, it is nice to come down to Freeport's"Nautical Mile" to soak in the sights. Lots of nice folks, live music and sea breezes!

Happy Birthday America!

Happy 4th of July! I like to think this is a special day for all of us All-American (Heinz 57, Mixed Breed, etc..) types of dogs. We are all unique, one of a kind dogs and isn't that the American Way?!

Leashes and Lovers

The July LI Dog Pints and Paws event featured a book signing. Here I am with Leashes and Lovers author Sheryl Matthys. Her paw turning book talks about the relationship between people and their dogs. A barking good read!
